    Hi Amanda,

Just wanted to second what Brigid said, I know your mom would be proud of you and would want you to have the best and happiest future you can 🙂

You are so special and we are lucky just to have the chance to tell you that! The world needs people who are sensitive and care about others, and I can tell that you are a sensitive and caring person.

Trust that just as you continue to grow each day, so will others in your life, and they may one day see things differently than they do in this moment.

    We love you!

      Hi Amanda A,
Yes, as Letter Mama Yvonne says, new Mom letters are only posted during the winter holiday season. However there are years of older Mom letters (and Dad letters too) that you can come by and read anytime you want to hear some kind words.
Just look up to the top of the page and find a section called Our Past Letters. Click on it to find links to lots of older letters. The site stays up year-round, but there won’t be as many of us around to answer your comments during the rest of the year. So getting replies will take longer than it does during the winter holiday season.
So glad you found us! Wishing you an easier year ahead. Hugs!

        Hi Amanda,

Your mom would be very proud of you if she could see you now. She’d see that her child has become a strong and wise young person who knows her true self. She’d see a young person with great hope for future happiness.
        I see that too.
Thing really do get better for LGBTQ youth as they grow up and go out into a world that becomes more accepting everyday. People all over the world are waking up to the beautiful fact that there aren’t just two kinds of people in the world.
The world is so much more interesting, so much more lively, so much more loving with YOU in it Amanda. Keep on being your delightful self and you’ll find the support and acceptance you need.
But for now, feel free to drop by here anytime. We welcome you. We love you. Hugs!
